Peerless Development is a licensed general contractor and design-build firm serving Nashville and Middle Tennessee. We manage residential remodeling and new construction from concept through completion, with organized execution and long-term value as the priority.
A Licensed Design-Build Firm
We are a licensed general contractor operating under a design-build model. That means one contract, one team and one point of accountability for design, selections, permitting and construction. Homeowners are not left mediating between a designer who drew something and a builder who has to make it work.
What We Do
Our work is residential: kitchen and bathroom remodeling, whole-home renovations, home additions, garages, outdoor living spaces and ground-up new construction. We also work with owners of investment property. Every project runs through the same five phases — consultation, planning and design, pre-construction, construction and completion.

We plan with long-term value in mind, which shapes how a structural change is detailed and which systems get upgraded rather than deferred. For homeowners staying put, that means a house that holds up; for those building to hold or sell, work that stands up to inspection and appraisal.
What Licensed Means Here
Tennessee requires a contractor's license for projects of $25,000 or more, and licensing carries a reviewed or audited financial statement prepared by an independent accounting firm. It also means the permit is pulled properly and the work inspected. Unlicensed work creates problems at resale and appraisal long after the job is finished.
A Residential Focus
Most of what we build is houses. That focus means the trades we schedule, the suppliers we buy from and the details we specify are the ones residential work needs, and that Middle Tennessee housing conditions are familiar rather than a first encounter. We're also licensed for commercial construction on projects up to $1.5 million, and that work runs through the same five-step process.
Pre-Construction Is Where We Earn It
Most of what goes wrong in residential construction goes wrong because someone did not look first. Galvanized supply lines, subfloor moisture, panel capacity, lot coverage limits, HOA review timelines — these are knowable before demolition. Our pre-construction phase exists to find them while they are still drawing revisions rather than change orders.
